Memorial Day Honors

I would like to take this opportunity to honor a most important veteran, my father – Vladimir Budilo, Pvt., United States Army.  My father was an immigrant to this wonderful country.  He taught my brother’s and me about honor, duty and devotion to our country.  He taught us about what it means to be an American – and how invaluable freedom and liberty are.  He insisted on giving us the gift of multi-culturalism – because maybe someday, our country may need people who are knowledgeable about other cultures and who also speak other languages.  Most importantly, he taught us to be American’s and to value American Idealism.

My father went on to have a brilliant career as an Electrical Engineer with Southern California Edison Company – and as a major contributor to our community and our country.  My father and mother raised four children and now have eight grandchildren – two of whom have distinguished themselves among Eagle Scouts.  I am proud to say that the two Eagle Scouts are my sons.

It is thanks to him and to many, many thousands like my father – who served their country, many of whom sacrificed their lives for the rest of us, that we could live in peace and enjoy freedom and liberty… and yes, the pursuit of happiness here in the United States of America.

In my father’s country of origin/birth, the government confiscated all of their land and homes.  Many have had the same experience here, although the taker’s have been the corporations and banks.  Because of all of this, I am especially proud and honored to be working as a Realtor and helping American’s realize and preserve the American Dream  and the RIGHT of home ownership – against all obstacles.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

GOD BLESS THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES!

THANK YOU VETERAN’S OF THE ARMED FORCES, FOR THE NOBLE SACRIFICES OF YOUR LIVES!

Respectfully,

Natalia Budilo, GRI – Realtor
